Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Graduate Billings Analyst to join a growing and developing business based within the South Leeds area. This is a newly created, permanent role that has emerged due to recent acquisitions and substantial growth. This would be an ideal opportunity for a graduate, looking to secure a position within a large finance team where development and progression is encouraged. The role reports into the Finance Manager and will be an integral role in supporting the business in its next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning business that encourage growth and development from within and have an established yet developing finance function. This role is very analytical in nature and will allow exposure to key stakeholders and senior management within the business. This role requires an individual with intermediate Excel skills that ideally has an understanding of Pivot Tables and Vlookups.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:-
-Analysing client bills and providing analysis required to highlight historical and emerging trends around billing.
-Creating credits and rebills to ensure accurate billing at all times.
-Maintaining and developing the current reporting models and implementing any changes and developments.
-Identifying any pricing issues and/or anomalies.
-Reviewing billing reports and pulling large volumes of data together.
-Helping to develop new reporting measures and systems to promote business activity and drive profit improvement.
-Liaising with key stakeholders over the telephone and dealing with any associated queries.
-Working on ad-hoc projects alongside the Finance Manager.
-Ideally be educated to degree level, within an accountancy and finance related subject.
-Ideally have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
-Have strong analytical and numerical skills.
-Have excellent attention to detail.
-Be able to converse at all levels with the ability to present findings back to key stakeholder.
-Have good organisational and planning skills with the ability to work proactively and unsupervised when required.
-Be able to look for new ways to improve current processes and streamline existing procedures.
