An exciting opportunity is immediately available for a talented and ambitious graduate to become an important part of a highly respected, award winning Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Cardiff. Our client is undergoing a period of expansion and is looking to welcome a Graduate Structural Engineer to the team to become an important part of a range of current and upcoming projects to be delivered to clients across South Wales to a high standard. In this role you will work alongside experienced and chartered engineers on a range of small, medium and large scale building structures projects using a host of materials. Our client is willing to offer a salary of up to £26,000 for this position, in addition to offering a wide range of benefits and full support to chartership.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will;

• Hold a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Possess at least 18 months experience at a UK based engineering consultancy
• Have experience of working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Have good working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards
• Have a good understanding of AutoCAD

In this Graduate Structural Engineering role you will;

• Receive full support towards chartership status with either ICE or IStructE
• Work alongside a number of experienced engineers on a range of building structures projects
• Attend site projects as required
• Write reports and carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
• Carry out structural design and analysis as required
• Liaise closely with a wide range of valued clients
