Job Title - Surgical Staff Nurse
Location - Hertfordshire
Salary - £13ph
Hours - Full Time
My client is currently looking for Surgical Staff Nurses to join their team. The Hospital specialises in cardiology, oncology, general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, weight loss surgery, gynaecology, weight loss surgery and ophthalmology. They treat patients suffering from a range of conditions including hernia, heart disease, gall bladder and prostate problems.
This hospital has a rapid-access breast care clinic that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and related breast problems.
My client is looking for a qualified and experienced RGN to work full time on the wards. You will preferably have experience of nursing different specialities as we admit patients for a large range of procedures.
ITU or CCU experience would be desirable.
To provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in a variety of hospital settings.
Assess patients' health and well being across a complex and changing caseload.
Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
Provide and receive complex , sensitive or contentious information.
Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
Promotes best practice in health and safety and security.
Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Contribute to quality improvement.
Promote peoples' equality, diversity and rights.
The hospital wards are functioning 7 days per week 24 hours per day, therefore you will need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts.
Qualification, Training and Experience:
Qualified nurse with competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and regulation.
ITU / CCU training desirable for this role - HDU training would be acceptable.
