Transportation's Traffic Group has A vacancy in its Network Management team for a Systems Management Officer with experience of working in a busy highway department with a high profile customer interface. We are looking for the right candidate who is familiar with highways and street works IT packages.
-Compatibility of all data entered and manipulated within primary IT systems
-Taking a lead role in IT assistance and advice to the division on street works technical issues
-Information and systems support services to the division
-Preparing regular financial monitoring reports
-Liaising with contractors in relation to electronic ordering systems and standards of street works notification
-Liaising with divisional managers in the development and enhancement of systems, their outputs and links
-Enable integration of specialist IT functions such as Street works web registration, data collection in support of asset management planning.
Educated to degree level or appropriate technical qualification with experience in highways management computer systems
